I don't think of it as a swear word... more of a replacement for a swear word. Ya know "bugger off", "funny bugger" etc...

Well I was once told to write 25 lines "I will not use inappropriate language in public" when I said out loud as a joke that my friend was "a lazy bugger" for skipping class.

So yes it is a swear word, but in an age of gordon ramsay freely swearing at 8.30pm on tv, big brother and the "N" word not being censored in Kanye West's "Homecoming" on radio in Australia, I don't think it's a big issue.

To be honest she is an innocent minded girl, I have only heard her swear once in the six months we've been going out and that word was crap, which isn't really swearing.

It's just how you were brought up. Saying "bugger", "git", "crap" and "twat" is fine in my family, but my parents get all pissy if I say "poxy", which really winds me up.

Anyways, I'm a firm believer that no words should be censored, and that every person should be able to say what they want when they want. Every man should be entitled to freedom of speech, and yet no one is.
