Sales of Microsoft's Forza Motorsport 2 may have dropped by 46 per cent, but the title is still top of the UK All Formats charts for the third week running.

The Xbox 360 exclusive is holding off competition from Take 2's movie tie-in The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer at number two, which has this week seen a 70 per cent surge in sales.

Sales of Codemasters Colin McRae DIRT have dropped by 29 per cent, although the game has climbed one space to number three, overtaking Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean at number four, which saw sales drop 35 per cent.

Wii Play is at five this week, with Acitvision's Spider-Man 3 at number six and Eidos' Tomb Raider: Anniversary at number seven.

Nintendo's Dr Kawashima's Brain Training is at number eight, with Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 6 at nine and 505 Games' Cooking Mama at number ten.

This week's highest new entry is Activision's Shrek The Third at number 13, with the game expected to climb the charts next week upon the release of the PS2 version.

Empire's Xbox 360 racer Flatout: Ultimate Carnage debuts at number 14 in the charts, with 505 Games' Armoured Core 4 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 just managing to make the charts at number 39.

"a little bit better than motorstorm" ? Lol. Thats funny, I don't remember Motorstorm being #1 for 3 weeks in the UK, do you? Forza 2 had a higher opening than Motorstorm, and unlike Motorstorm, held the #1 spot for more than 1 week.

Worldwide? I am not sure, but it should be close.

Forza 2 has sold around 375k in the US + 25k (or so in Japan). In Europe, I would say that Forza is probably around 500k sold. IMO, Forza has probably sold atleast 200k in the UK alone, which should add upto 400~500k in the entirety of Europe, or more.

So that should put it around 800-900k for near certain. That's great news since in about 1 more week, it'll surpass F1s numbers. With a price drop + alot of new addopters later this year, I anticipate alot will pick FM2 up, as NFS and PGR might not be out quite yet when alot of people adopt @ Halo3 week and until PGR4 launches in November.
