Yea I agree no PC game is more then $49.99 and also on steam they have weekly deals :D

If anything I don't pay much for pc games only the ones I think are worthy or I support like valve, epic, blizzard, Id somehow my friends give me games for free ;)

Well..you could just buy a PS3, a keyboard and mouse for it, and install Linux on it. Then you'll have a PS3 and a computer. All you'd have to do is play around in and learn Linux a little, I'm sure you can play games on it. Probably not as easy to install..but I've never put Linux on my PS3, and haven't used it outside a class I took at ITT - so I don't have any real experience gaming with Linux.

That's actually a good question for you guys. If anyone knows, please tell:

If you install Linux on your PS3, can you use CD/DVDs to install programs and/or games on it as well? I would assume, otherwise whats the point in putting Linux on it, but like I said - I've never done it, so I don't really know.

Alright I did it. Pulled the trigger on a ps3 40gb yesterday. Also got a gamefly trial started so i can get something other than what came with it. First game in the que is MGS4, i mind just end up keeping it if it's as good as it sounds. though it won't be out until the end of august i put Vampire Rain (http://www.gamefly.com/products/detail.asp?pid=130920&t=0) in at #2. Any game recommendations?

Think i might try and install linux on it later, but for now it's just pure sleek ps3.
