Well..you could just buy a PS3, a keyboard and mouse for it, and install Linux on it. Then you'll have a PS3 and a computer. All you'd have to do is play around in and learn Linux a little, I'm sure you can play games on it. Probably not as easy to install..but I've never put Linux on my PS3, and haven't used it outside a class I took at ITT - so I don't have any real experience gaming with Linux.

If you install Linux on your PS3, can you use CD/DVDs to install programs and/or games on it as well? I would assume, otherwise whats the point in putting Linux on it, but like I said - I've never done it, so I don't really know.
