thnx ... i like the panasonic plasma tha u post it very interesting .. i will go and check it today ... but i want to as if u know anything about this ( 3D enabled ) thing in the new TVs

I'm afraid I don't; it sounds like a gimmick to me, as most content isn't produced to take advantage of 3D.  I would expect its usefulness to be limited.  Again, though, I really don't know anything about it.

i see ... maybe another guy know something about this 3D enabled thing ... thnx man.

The 3D is supposed to be great, though I don't know of a movie that uses it yet. Blu-ray is supposed to have this on select discs soon and the PS3 has been confirmed to be able to run them in the future with a firmware upgrade. I really wouldn't worry about it, it's pretty useless at this time and probably wil be for a while.

As far as that Samsung, go with the 650 it's worth it for the higher PQ, 1080p, and 120hz. Though it only comes in 42" and 46" The higher end Sony's are very nice too, though the Sammy's have come down in price and are a way better value at the moment. If you want Plasma and cost isn't an object, get a Pioneer Kuro model, the Panasonic's are nice too.

There is a lot of decent LCD's out there for sure, though I would definitely reccomend a Bravia or a Sammy.

Just don't get a DLP...they often have a slight delay, making most games have a little bit noticeable lag, and music games impossible.

 ?? whats this DLP ?

Those giant screens they actually project the image onto the screen from the rear. The thing is Plasma and LCD even have scaling chips which produce a lag in the image, the major difference is LCD' and plasmas have Game mode which turn them off in order to cut lag out I'm not sure if DLP does or does not have this.

lol thats make me worry ... can u know if this model have this issue ?

becaus  i think this is the best that i foun until now.

Game mode Yes (Sports/Cinema/Game)

in short yes it has it you just need to turn it on in the menu for each system.

this TV also have a native 1080p ... is there any difference between native & true 1080p ? if there is then i will go with the panasonic one.

by picture quality, how far is plasma tv better than LCD? can anybody comment abt this? issit really significant and easily noticeable by human eyes? coz i only buy LCD, its cheaper. but if plasma is really too superior then i hav to reconsider.

any HDTV pro here? pls help thx

Plasma's have a deeper black level in general, which equals higher contrast, and a better picture. Though the new LCD's are right up there with them now. I honestly reccomend a LCD these days, as long as you are getting a decent newer model. If you want huge, plasma is probably a better bet due to cost.

Don't plasma's have screen burn with video games i.e. if you pause your game the picture can permanently be burned into the screen.

Yes, Plasmas are not as bad as they were in terms of burn-in. On the other hand, LCDs are also overcoming the disadvantages they had. From what I see, current LCD and Plasmas are not that different from each other, except in terms of price and power consumption (LCDs have the advantage on both).

Go to your local electronics shop and compare the latest Plasmas to the latest LCDs, then you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect. That's the good thing about TVs, there are so many shops demonstrating them...

Native or true is a preference in naming, they're the same thing it's just depending on how they advertise or phrase it.

the trick is, that ALL digital tv's are naturally progressive. Unless you absolutely want 60 Frames a second(with games you do but with movie, I think now they do 24Frames to keep it matched to the source.) you don't really need 1080p 1080i would be basically the same. However most 1080p sets have smaller pixels and sub pixel layers to create a better image but the resolution for 1080p and 1080i are the same exactly. The benefit comes from higher cost models tending to include 1080p where cheaper models only have 1080i or 720p and the 60 frames.

on the subject of burn in, LCD displays these days have almost eliminated the problem completely Plasmas still have it but you'd have to leave a static image up for a good long while(possibly hours) for it to burn in. If you lower the lamp light level you can even decrease the chance of burn in, lower power consumption and help enhance the black levels on an LCD.
