When will this come out?  Who will get it and will it be much of an improvement over Oblivion?

when it will be ready depends on the succes of fallout.
but IMO oblivion was one of the best games eve, so i will pick it up asap

Oblivion was one of my favorite games so I hope after Fallout Bethesda works on it. It probably won't be out until late 2010 though.

Well, apparently Bethesda teamed up with Splash Damage (Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars) so something must be going on. I just don't know what. However, I think it's more or less related to multiplayer because of SD. Maybe TES V will have multiplayer as well? Or maybe they're developing a MMORPG TES? Or... something new? Personally I would hope SD to fix the issues in gameplay and a few design issues.
