Iraq was definetly a big fukn lie. Iran will be another big lie unless the US Congress impeaches Bush before he attacks.

People should educate themselves about the real world and forget everything their told to believe. Most of it is manufactured patriotic self delusion.

It is not going to happen easily, Israel and/or USA would attack Iran before it happens (possibly this year).

pray not NJ5 bcz America is already in trouble in Iraq and Afghanistan and attacking Iran would be something foolish especially when the european nations are not willing. If Israel attacks then i believe WW3 is near............

@hasanraza: If Israel attacks Iran, USA will soon follow (or at least give some support). Europe might also follow too, especially if Iran starts disrupting the supply of oil. 17% of the world's oil is shipped through the strait of Hormuz (near Iran).

I dont think that Russia and China would just sit and see it NJ5. Dont forget the other muslim states their leaders might not help Iran but their people would be on Iran side. Iran is also military wise far more superior then Iraq or Afghanistan and the people of Iran love their ruling party which was not the case when it comes to Iraq or Afghanistan.

Hence i wont say that Iran will win but i think it will be a bloody war for both sides.

You're right that any invasion would be harder than Iraq's or Afghanistan's. An air strike would be easy though (and that will always be the first step, with USA air bases now surrounding Iran in Iraq/Afg.). The ramifications could be severe though, regarding oil, oil supply disruptions and reaction of the remaining middle east countries.

As much as I respect national sovereignity, everyone would probably be better of if Iran, or any other country for that matter, wouldn't get nuclear weapons.

This is totally understandable, and might turn out to be right, but they'd probably be better off waiting to see if a sensible person (Obama or uh... just Obama I guess) gets elected into the White House. Playing the "we might have nukes..." card just gives the Bush/Cheney guys an excuse to get violent.

NJ5 i think Russia will use Iran the way America had used Afghanistan against Russia. The people of Iran r brave they need weapons and tech to counter America or its allies.
