I would be very afraid. It is just that I don't think the US relay team has been in such a situation before, normally they're always the favorite for the title and only their own screw ups can keep them from winning the title. Could they actually have felt extra pressure which caused the failures in the series?

Or maybe sometimes it isn't that simple to pass a baton while running faster than 99.99999999% of the world's population can. Shit happens.
The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.

I'm pretty sure the passing of the baton happens at around the same speed for all teams, so I really don't think it is any more difficult for the fastest teams.
Wow, the US Women's softball lost to Japan in the Gold medal game! That was a surprise :(
It's great that the US Women's Soccer team was able to win the Gold, though! After the last World Cup blow-up, it's very nice to see them come out defend their Gold medal :)

Today I discovered BMX is one of the most exciting sports to watch, it had been a while since I saw something so fun (not counting football and rugby, which are my favourite sports). Definitely a sport to watch the next Olympics with attention, and a woman from my country almost got a medal! She was so close...
BMX is indeed awesome. Some idiots are saying it doesn't belong at the Olympics, but it's much more interesting to watch than fucking water polo and dressage >_>
And Australia is really good at it too, so that's another plus :)
Uh oh, China... They just reported that the IOC has "found new evidence" regarding the age of 3 Chinese gymnasts and is launching an investigation into it. It could strip the Chinese of several medals if they're proven to be underage.
