f this son of a b$%^#&!!! I have 3 kids and it makes me wish we could pre-kill people who take the lives of innocent children. Minority report on them. Next Monday they should retract the special and honor his murdered wife and son. I don't see how anyone can look at their child and hurt them like that.

The history books tell of him uniting Germany, but everyone remembers him as an evil person, because of what he did before he died. It doesn't really matter how great you were. When you kill your family, people see your true colors.

First of all, WWE should not have done a tribute without getting the facts straight.
If Benoit really killed them, then WWE are only glorifying a monster.
What he did as a wrestler and friend is secondary in this case. It's like saying that Hitler was responsible for the genocide of millions of Jewish civilians yet he is honored for being a brilliant strategist and politician.

And just got this morning's newspaper, and his murder/suicide is front page news (In Calgary. Edmonton actually has a Chris Benoit day. Me wonders if that will be quietly dropped and never mentioned again).

Yeah given Benoit's previous behavior, they had no reason to believe he would have been behind the murders. So I don't fault the WWE for running the tribute special on Monday. All that said, I had tremendous respect for Benoit. That is gone now. I can't respect someone that did those horrible things.
