Since its already August, only few days to go, are there games there should be looking for? or wait till September to holiday season?

Even there are many sold Wiis this year, wii gamers are in gaming drought except for No More Heroes, SSBB and MK Wii. Well these are the games thats been released this year that I've bought, well except for Boom Blox and will bought Okami this coming August...

August 31st - Mercenaries 2 (PS3, PS2, 360 and PC)

Bangai-O Spirits probably qualifies but August is mainly shovelware with a handful of decent games thrown in.
