I haven´t been warned, then I think they are doing a good job...
| alucardremixed said: Maybe, but those that get banned just kept asking for it, then they come back for seconds. One question, When bans are giving out, are they approved by other higher-ups, or just BANNED? |
Most of the problem people have threads made about them on the mods forum, where they can discuss certain actions made by users, and maybe what they should do about them in terms of bans or warnings. But each mod has the right to ban each member if they see fit to, depending on what you do they will make the ban longer.
But if a user has been banned and if they feel it was not right they can send a message to that mod or Naznatips with a new account and talk about the banning or the length of it. I know this is what i have done in the past and they have never had a problem with it. This allows you to get a better understanding of the ban and the length of it, and sometimes they reduce the length of the ban.
But if you create a second account just to continue posting on the forums they will perma ban the new account and might lengthen the ban on the main account.
@Griffin. Naznatips? I thought the head moderators on these boards were DKII and Ben.

no, actually not strict enough.
I waited a couple of weeks for an obvious troll account to get banned, every post he made was anti 360. After about 50 of the worst posts I have ever seen (his spelling and stuff was also horrific), he was banned.
But at least it happened.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Although I generally believe that the less said about VGChartz mods, the better, I do feel obligated to say a few things about VGChartz mods's villainous, inerudite taradiddles. First off, there's a lot of daylight between VGChartz mods's views and mine. It believes that it is an organization of peace while I suspect that I welcome its comments. However, it needs to realize that it uses highfalutin terms like "pharmacodynamic" and "historiographical" to conceal its plans to make things worse. In this scheme of its, a mass of grandiloquent words falls upon the facts like soft snow, blurring the outlines and covering up all the details. We become unable to see that VGChartz mods is opposed to free enterprise, individual liberty, trial by jury, and even such post-Westphalian notions as national sovereignty. Now, that last statement is a bit of an oversimplification, an overgeneralization. But it is nevertheless substantially true. I like to think I'm a reasonable person but you just can't reason with the most presumptuous smut peddlers I've ever seen. It's been tried. They don't understand, they can't understand, they don't want to understand, and they will die without understanding why all we want is for them not to lay all of society open to the predations of organized criminality. I unmistakably can't stress this enough, but VGChartz mods's jeremiads can be subtle. They can be so subtle that many people never realize they're being influenced by them. That's why we must proactively notify humanity that thoughtful people are being forced to admit, after years of evading the truth, that I have been right. I was right when I said that VGChartz mods's recommendations are a perfect example of overgeneralization and blatant fanaticism. I was right when I said that VGChartz mods is the type of organization that would shoot you just to see if its gun worked. And I was right when I said that this is not the first time I've wanted to take personal action and maximize our individual potential for effectiveness and success in combatting VGChartz mods. But it is the first time I realized that not only does it impede the free flow of information, but it then commands its accomplices, "Go, and do thou likewise." VGChartz mods prefers defamation to dialogue. I state these facts only to give a bit of personal background as to why if we look beyond VGChartz mods's delusions of grandeur, we see that it often argues that truth is whatever your grievance group says it is. A similar argument was first made over 1200 years ago by a well-known profiteer and was quickly disproved. In those days, however, no one would have doubted that this is a lesson for those with eyes to see. It is a lesson not so much about VGChartz mods's bitter behavior but about the way that you shouldn't let VGChartz mods intimidate you. You shouldn't let it push you around. We're the ones who are right, not VGChartz mods. VGChartz mods is like a broken record, using the same tired cliches about family and education and safer streets, yet there's a time to keep silent and a time to speak. There's a time to love and a time to hate. There's a time for war and a time for peace. And, I contend, there's a time to free VGChartz mods's mind from the constricting trammels of academicism and the counterfeit moral inhibitions that have replaced true morality. Or, to put it less poetically, VGChartz mods can't possibly believe that its decisions are based on reason. It's unregenerate but it's not that unregenerate. Finally, any one of the points I made in this letter could be turned into a complete research paper, but the conclusion of each would be the same: Insecure metagrobolism and headstrong absenteeism are a matched pair. |
People are distributing pronography on this site? For cheap?
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:
A little haha. I mean only time I got banned was when a mod threatened me haha.
Actually, I'm more likely to lock this thread because of the annoying caps lock paragraph at the beginning than a dislike of the topic. I don't really care if people discuss this stuff to be honest.
Although I must agree with Montana, these threads inevitably oversimplify every example situation that is brought up. Often times members are unaware of information that the mods have and sometimes its just because people like to remember the situation in the most favorable light for themselves. Just ask any prison inmate if he is guilty and chances are he will explain how he was wrongly accused, framed, and then wrongly convicted...hell if you go by the criminal's account of events we have a prison system full of 99% innocent people, and justice system jokes aside that is obviously not true.
Unlike a normal member when a moderator sees someone make a questionable comment we don't get to just scroll past and have a nice day. No, moderators have to open the person's post history read through recent posts, look up their ban & warning history and read through it, and then make a determination of whether or not its an actionable offense.
And if that wasn't enough when we ban someone we have to figure out a way to best convey all of this information inside of a 1 or 2 sentence blurb (preferably along with post IDs and thread IDs) for the ban note. Then finally we go make a note of the infraction for other mods to see in case of future problems. And if that wasn't enough we also have to deal with complaints and bitching from people who think they are above the rules and can't believe that we would punish them because [insert lame reason].
In short, its a job. And I'm confident I speak for all of the mods when I say we would appreciate it if you guys would please just give us the benefit of the doubt. Contrary to paranoid logic the mods aren't out to get anyone who doesn't deserve it, and as many have echoed in this thread if anything we are a bit to lenient on people by issuing warnings to begin with. Most sites just ban without warning and usually for substantially longer periods of time.
are you seriously saying that those "Vs" threads were good....no offense, but 1 may have been okay, but the 17 that were made, got locked for a reason, spamming. sorry but there are rules for a reason.

I love myself too. As for the other mods, let's see what their opinions hold.
