MGS 4 is the best looking game ever made on any console. As more developers realize the full potential of the ps3, its graphics will out do the x box. Also, with a blu ray player, games have the potential to be a lot bigger withour compromising graphics. X box keeps cutting its price in a bid to sell and now is almost the same price as a ps2 which shows how desperate they are.

Lol, gears of war 2 has best graphocs of E8. MGS 4 has the best graphics on any console ever made. I have seen gears of war 2, sorry but graphics are not comparable. The only game that can be compared to MGS 4 is crysis which is on the oc.

yup. i dont care what ign said killzone 2 looks better than gears of war, regardless of how many enemies there are on screen.

Well, both Gears and Killzone looks great. But here's the rundown of what I've seen in all clips so far.

Textures = Gears2
Scale = Gears2
Color = Gears2
Animation = KZ2
Physics/geometry = KZ2
Lighting = KZ2
Particles = KZ2
Post Processing/ Effects = KZ2

They both look great, but IMO kz2 looks better.... With that being said, KZ2 IS coming out several months AFTER Gears2 so they have a bit of an advantage.

KZ2 looks good, but from what I've seen crysis is in a different league :
