a few days ago, my wii stopped reading my brawl disc. i have had the us version of the game (cuz i live in the us) since release, and it has been working pretty good until now. it would have the occational read error, but they were rare enough to not really make me care. now it will refuse to read the disc at all. i think it has to be that the reading lens is dirty, so i'm gonna send it into nintendo to get it cleaned.

another reason i think it's dirty, is because i live in a very dusty place. it's kinda unavoidable. i literally live aross the road from a sort of contruction site that the city dumps it's piles of dirt and concrete pipes and crap before they use them. whenever somebody drives by, it kicks up dusts that eventually ends up in my house one way or another. it really sucks.

so anyway, has anybody else had to send in there wiis to get cleaned? and if so, how long did it take?

i had to send mine into ninty to be cleaned matey, they do a great job and all your saved info will be intact and best of all mine came back 7 days after i posted it.

I had to send mine in too (Europe)...

They gave me a new one :-S... Although I had it within 3 days I lost all of my stuff... And I'm not getting it back XD!!!...

So, if you're going to send it in... Well, get an SD-card!

Mine took about 10 days, but I got my original box back with all my stuff still on it.

yay, i just got it back now, and it works. it'll be a nice time waster now that i'm waiting for spore to come out.

Omg dude move away from that place. Humans are way more expensive to clean than Wii Lens.

a few people with braw have had thi problem its because this is the first dual layer game

so the lenses have to work harder for it to work so it needs t be as clean as possible
