Coming from a guy who has played all CoD games.  Halo 3 is still better than CoD4.  I won't say its better than the first CoD(vCoD) only because that was my first online shooter I ever got into.  I will disagree with you on adding vehicles for United Offensive.  That was actually really fun on bigger levels and in general.  I use to get banned from servers all the time by running over my teammates.  Now that is carnage.  The only thing I will give CoD4 over Halo3 is being able to lean.  And thats only in the PC version of the game. 

So when we are talking console fps Halo really is as good as it gets.  You can't select servers, it matches the game up for you.  Big Team Battle, ranked and unranked is the only way to get 16 player games.  There is usually a lot of people playing that.

Lol yea vehicles were fun on larger maps but I wasn't totally into unless driving jeeps around and jumping out before running over a teammate to kill them but without getting the TK :D that was always fun. Yeah I don't like how for console CoD you can't lean. Well atleast in CoD 1 & 2 for PC lean was such a critical use for me and still use for CoD4.

But quarashi did you ever in CoD UO block a spot to a respawn point. Bust out a satchel drop it after 5-10 teammates spawn and then switch to spectator mode so it would kill them all on a no friendly fire server :D good days got banned so much.

Rofl I like how you say 4 player split screen online o wait I just use ventrilo and me and my friends can talk and play online together oh and a side note what is this free online gaming service :O and works with steam oh god. My laptop works for lans so its meh put in bag and go its kinda like bringing a xbox controller over but a little heavier. Also owning a Wii always helps when all the friends come over :D

twesterm put it best.  If you liked Halo 1 and 2, you'll probably like 3.  If you didn't like Halo 1 and 2, you probably wont like 3.

Eh.  Debateable.  I thought Halo 1 was horrible, but I didn't play it til after Halo 2, and a downgrade is never good.  But, then again, we can thank MS for how this series turned out.  Halo 1 should have been a lot more like Halo 2, and Halo 2 should have been a lot more like Halo 3.  Had that been the case, Halo 3 probably would have had a lot more innovative perks and differences from Halo 2, and I probably would have liked it a lot better.  For me, it just didn't bring enough new content.  They did improve on a few things, and add a few little things, but all in all it just wasn't that much different from 2 for me.  Seems many disagree with me, but whatever..out of 6 '360 Fanboy' friends of mine, only 1 still has the game.  And all 6 of those friends played Halo 2 like crazy.  I don't know - you figure it out.
