How do you think it will work if you tried to invite me in the UK?

Unlimited is correct it used to be in correlation to the dollar value of your subscription. I am sure it is in my email somewhere when they altered the plan. Perhaps when they altered the subscription rates here is the applicable passage from Netflix.
Included in your membership
Instant watching is included with all Netflix plans.
Your current 3 at-a-time (Unlimited) plan provides unlimited hours for watching instantly. You can watch as many hours as you like, and there's no additional charge for watching.
Your DVD plan is unchanged. Watching movies instantly online will not affect the number of DVDs you can receive or how quickly you can exchange discs.
@Mistershine
Until Microsoft of Netflix share more details about any restrictions I would have no clue whether the service will be region locked.
If I remember correctly, Netflix's streaming selection kinda sucks though.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
I am sure, however, that Netflix movies will be integrated with the current XBL library of movies. Might not be very robust, but better than what is currently offered on either.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
| Dodece said: For those unaware of the Netflix offer through the 360 here is the simple synopsis. All you need is a 360, a gold account, and a netflix membership to stream Netflix movies through your console. Netflix subscribers can then invite seven friends into a party to watch the movie with them on their consoles. Those watching do not even need to be Netflix subscribers. I am interested in hosting some anime marathons with my Netflix membership. I have a fifteen dollar subscription that entitles me to fifteen hours of streaming entertainment. I am also usually off on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the week. So I can basically have two or three marathons during the month. I am curious if anyone on these forums would be interested. Obviously you need a 360 and gold. Anyother Netflix subscribers who think they might be interested in doing something similar by all means list your genre, plan, and times you are probably going to be available. Perhaps when the fall update gets close we could get a stickied movie thread going. Where members can announce their own movie times, and so forth. |
I could have sworn you had to be an XBL gold Member and a Netflix member to be in someone's Movie Party.
:/

I do not believe they have said either way, but it probably is as you say. Just another way for them to try and get more subscribers.

I'm pretty sure that is incorrect. Netflix wants everyone on Xbox Live to subscribe to their service, not just every 1 out of 8.
We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
