I definitely don't hate Solid Snake. I hate Kratos, but that's about the only Sony character I dislike.

I voted for Kerrigan the entire game, until she was voted out :/

Definitely too many Nintendo characters, but I certainly agree that Mario, Link, and Samus deserve a spot in the top 10. I put Samus on the list, and I was hoping she'd win, with Snake in at least the top ten...but there's just too many people here who hate Snake.

as far as the silent protagonist goes, link has much more character than Samus. At leas you can see his face, and more importantly the way he interacts with others. You barely ever see any interaction from samus other than killing. Mario is similar, but I never really liked mario that much.

Just admit Samus won because she's a hot blonde. It's perfectly alright =)
