Forums - Microsoft - 360 owners only: Would you rebuy a 360 again?

Knowing what you know now, would you have braved the cold, stood in line for hours to get your 360 again? RROD, disc scratching, LIVE probs and all, would you still buy it, delay your purchase, bought a PS3 or Wii or just avoided it?

Me? I would have bought it earlier. I waited until April to get one after paying off some bills. Yeah, I got the RROD but I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. I have enjoyed the system through and through. Yeah, it has probs but if my current one fails, I'll just buy a new one.

Discuss and please, only 360 owners need apply and contribute.

I bought my 360 in August/September of 2007, when it was readily available in any store that sold them. So yes, I'd do it again. Although I don't fully understand your question.

I would still buy it. My 360 hasn't RRoD'ed yet. But I would not buy it earlier, I think my model is just... special :)

I waited for 15-18 hours outside my local Best Buy to purchase my 360. I remember the night vividly. I had a propane heater, numerous blankets and a Thermos full of hot cocoa. Would I again brave the elements to purchase my 360...yes.

I bought mine about a year after launch, and I'm mildly annoyed that I didn't get the HDMI port that was added in later models. Other than that (tiny) issue, I don't regret the purchase.
