re price: as I said, I will (may?) get a PS3 when its cheaper.... much, MUCH cheaper (i.e. DVD player cheap). As a purchase, its not even close to my radar at the moment. For those games that I haven't played, yet really WANT to play - the 360 (which is cheaper than a PS3) will more than suffice - and actually has more games for me. (none of which are shooters).

(and I'll be picking up a 360 from one of my mates for $200AU in the coming months... someone want to give a PS3 for $200, and I'll probably take that as well...).

100$ more than the Xbox 360, and everyone that doesn't own says it costs too much, and not enough exclusives... Theres some really good looking games on PSN like Siren ( came out today ) Elefunk, PIXELJUNK EDEN and PIXELJUNK Monsters, GT5P, Warhawk, ( Future : Socom Confrontation, Ratchet and Clank QfB ) PSONE games like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Castlevania SOTN, Echochrome really original, New Video store with anime ( PSN exclusive Xam'd lost memories ) tv shows, movies, that can only get better with time and more exclusive content. If this reasons won't get you to buy one... Since some of the posters also stated lack of exclusives.. well let me say that i've bought my 40 GB for Guitar Hero III 6 months ago. I wasn't thinking about exclusives at the time, and there are atleast good multiplatform games out there to occupy yourself with

So its Confirmed Most people want a PS3 from some reason or another its just that the price is the biggest barrirer for gamers who dont care about blu ray. I can fully understand that. So It seems down the road next year PS3 at 299 could easily put sony in at the #2 slot this gen.

DS looks way more hardcore then the Wii which i never thought I would say. GTA Ds would have never crossed my mind. IMO The DS deserves its great sales more then the Wii does RIGHT NOW. hopfully things will balance themselves out (looking at Mad World I must have)

Because in order to get a console there must be at least 3 games I am interested in them. There are 7 games I am interested in wii, 4 in Xbox360 and ZERO in PS3.

Its funny how you guys say its very expensive for the PS3 and not have many games to play. Let me point something out to your logic.

Many games= spend more money= expensive

I think what you meant to say is.. that you are not willing to pay that much for the PS3 because of the lack of interests in games when you can pay the same for a 360 with its game library.
