im simply tired of misinformation, I understand some people are confused but to act as if they know nintendo and MS somehow worked out a 'deal' to get it on xbla? REALLY? Everyone seems to think rare has to make out deals with nintendo for every damn game.

Why not a DS version? Rare is still aloud to make games for it.

Microsoft is stupid because nintendo sold rare? Makes a lot of sense, stupid trolls everywhere. Microsoft would probably allow banjo on the VC in return of being able to put their goldeneye remake on live, but stupid nintendo wouldn't allow it, some of you are really stupid :/

Microsoft has shown a willingness to put games out for the DS. So, of the possible scenarios for a Rare N64 game to be brought back, that seems the most likely. It won't happen for VC though since MS would want it for XBL and they couldn't even seem to get a deal worked out with Nintendo for the game that people want the most, Goldeneye.

I give this thread a 9.5.

Wasn't Activision the snag in getting GoldenEye on XBLA?

@goldenpp72-Thanks for clearing up the publishing mess with that interview snippet. Everyone has been under the impression Nintendo still had some rights to Banjo-Kazooie. I wonder where this leaves us with XBLA releases of other fifth generation Rare titles?
