I found it especially funny as I had just received the same PM.

I too enjoy following those reasons for ban. Initially it was simply because i wanted to learn the rules of the site, and thus get a clearer picture of where "the line" was

I suppose its chalked up to Schadenfreude, plus the fact that some of them are quite amusing

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I wonder how many people would be aware and use that word/concept if the simpsons hadn't used it.

Nice, Kirby. Thanks for the thread revival. LOLz.

And here I thought Avenue Q made it famous first.

According to wiki, Avenue Q debuted 2003... to be honest, I do not remember the season of that episode... let's see what google has to say... oh, first result is wiki's entry for schadenfreude lol... aha! it was a 1991 episode.

edit and slightly off-topic: quicksilver, biggest fucking win ever. EVER.

Damn, and 1991 was when Simpson's was still good too.

I still can't get over the fact they disallowed the bannercoaster. It was one of the site's best features.

I don't have a clue what you are talking about. Can someone explain what a bannercoaster is?

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

You used to be able to post on someone's wall even when they were banned. That's what the bannercoaster was. Unfortunately they killed it T_T

Interestingly enough, bannercoasters were often a display of... schadenfreude!

@twestern: yep, they were good back then =)
