"How come there are so many nintendo fans here?"

They're all over. The Wii is selling like crazy. Its like asking how come there are so many ipod fans on the apple website.

Digg, absolutely sure: I see it in Gaming threads all the time. They usually get dugg down by all the Nintendo fans :p

Kotaku, pretty sure, but not absolutely. I've definitely seen tangential comments, such as "I'm the only one defending the 360 here, so..." or "And now it's time to get flamed by the legions of Nintendo fans.." and such.  

I would agree with Digg, but not Kotaku.

 The only problem is that it is very strange that the most games who scores high are Nintendo games and that PS games lik FFVII have a bad score.

Oh ya I got MGS in the top ten. lol, I only vote on games I play.

just seeing that best games are ONLY made on nintendo consoles, looks unbelievable. :)

maybe here just too much mario boys and zelda boys? =)) because most games in top are mario or zelda related. :)))

 That is how it is supposed to be. If only the internet could track that.

 It is not fanboys that rate nes and Snes games so high. The problem is that these games have 5 or less votes sometimes. This way, the 5 people that played the game rate it 8 to 10. When the game make its way to the first page a troll come and gives it a 2. That happened with one of my favorite games ever: Tales of Phantasia for Snes. I made a nice descriptionreview for it and gave it a 10. It was on the top with a score of 8.7 (4 votes). Later the game had a average of 6. Of course the ones who gave the game a 4 or 5 have not played it.

The problem is that when a troll look at a game like Kyrby with a score of 9, they get annoyed and rate it 3.

plenty has changed with regards to handheld consoles. The DS is tracking to be the fastest selling handheld ever, despite the fact that it "lost" 20 million sales to the PSP. What does that say? People are buying handhelds now that didn't before, and the majority of those are buying Nintendo.

Congratulations on your purchases. I know people who own a PS2, Wii, and DS. Does that prove my point? no. Anecdotal evidenceis not proof.

What is proof is the sales numbers. You have to be blind if you think that just the regular hardcore Nintendo fans are purchasing Wiis. You can think I'm a blind Nintendo fanboy if you want, but that just goes to prove my point ;). The previous home console I purchased before I got a Wii, was a Playstation. The Wii is actually my first Nintendo home console.

I'm no blind fanboy, I am simply looking at the only proof anyone can have, and that's the sales trends. You can think that there are 80 million Playstation 2 owners sitting waiting for a price drop on the PS3 if you want. If that makes you happy, then go ahead and think that. If you can't see the sales changing yet, then it will come to you eventually. I'm sure you will be screaming "Wait until next year, the PS3 will come back" all the way to the launch of the PS4, just like most other Sony fanboys. And hey, it might be true. But if you can look at the software sales worldwide and think that there are more people playing Sony machines than Nintendo machines right now, then you are the blind one.

MGS or God of War were never that great. God of War was pretty sweet, but neither one of them ever got that much praise. Me thinks the Hardcore is speaking for the rest of the gamers out there.

As for this site, yes there are more Wii people that Sony or Microsoft. But the only thing that Wii people do is take for example the game ratings board, we pump Nintendo titles through the roof. Or if Sony people insult our console we reply in mass. Other than one or two oddballs we are pretty nice otherwise.

Beyond that Nintendo people get no special treatment from the mods.
