Also I am incredibly confused as to why there are so many NES/SNES games so high up, I know they were great in their time, but surely they can't be *that* great now. I guess it must be something to do with nostalgia, perhaps I'm too young to understand it, as the only thing I would say I have nostalgia for are the Pokemon games for GBC & GBA, ie Red and Gold. |
It is not fanboys that rate nes and Snes games so high. The problem is that these games have 5 or less votes sometimes. This way, the 5 people that played the game rate it 8 to 10. When the game make its way to the first page a troll come and gives it a 2. That happened with one of my favorite games ever: Tales of Phantasia for Snes. I made a nice descriptionreview for it and gave it a 10. It was on the top with a score of 8.7 (4 votes). Later the game had a average of 6. Of course the ones who gave the game a 4 or 5 have not played it.
The problem is that when a troll look at a game like Kyrby with a score of 9, they get annoyed and rate it 3.
