Forums - Microsoft - 360 has best games in almost every genre

There's something wrong in the article. I was just checking how the results for that TPS chart, and it doesn't match at all... for example, in the article the Xbox 360 has the TPS top 5 average at 91.8, yet:

Gears of War
Devil May Cry 4
Crackdown
Lost Planet
Stranglehold

don't even reach an average of 85. How is it possible?

Then I checked the results of "Xbox 360 Third Person Shooters" at Metacritic (where gamesradar got the scores for the averages), and it was wrongfully listed games like The Orange Box, Halo 3, Bioshock, etc... ofcourse they didn't use them, but Gamesradar still is messing up the results.

Fire emblem is not the best rpg. Smash is not the best fighter. Mario kart definitely is not the best racer. :D
Smash by sales has rights to call itself that. Same with Mario Cart because everyone loves it face the facts. Name a racer better the mario cart besides Gran Trusimo. Name a better fighting game besides Mortal Combat adn Tekken?

The numbers of both of those games dont compare to Mario Cart or Brawl...Farza falls behind every Mari Kart game and the dead or alive series only has one game that sold over a 1million. So your tellling me a game thats better sells alot lessmeaning? Tekken and Gran turismo both have a game that sold over 6 million. So am just wondering if a game is so good why cant it sell as well?

So now you are saying that the sales define quality? Wow, I must be blind since I did not notice any quality on games like wii sports, wii play and mario kart. Those are some top sellers this gen, they must be great?

 

Anyway, to answer your question. Most of the games are bought by/for kids, since some crappy titles will get good sales. You could compare this to movies/tv. Pokemon has a lot of more viewers than dexter, so pokemon is better? :)

It also is a small step up from it's predecessor, the Xbox. What exactly does it even bring NEW to the table besides better graphix than the XBOX? No, I don't agree.

Wifi or rechargeable controller(wtf?) are not vital. I paid something like 25$ for my wifi. Anyone can get a wlan router and plug it to your 360 with ethernet cable. That router works with the rest of your HT stuff, too. Don't you own a digital camera or at least some device that uses batteries? If you do, you will propably have a battery recharger. Use it.. or buy a new one for 10$! It comes with 4 batteries and those can be used on your digital camera, too!

I cannot imagine you are saying the graphics are superior on the ps3.

all 3 consoles have been out long enough to have there act together.

 Xbox 360 has been out for 32 months.  PS3 and Wii have only been out for 20 months.  That's %30 longer, so I expect the 360 to be ahead in having more better games by %30 more, not %5 more good games that PS3 or Wii.

sony has been in this game much longer than ms.

 

you would think they would have had the games ready to go.
