Forums - Gaming - Xbox 360 prototype worker switches to Sony PS3

So the guy that designed the 360 and the RROD issue is going over to Sony?

Seriously, no one outside a 16 year odl fanboy would make statements like that...

"The Playstation 3 consists of well over $750, but I’m amazed that Sony can sell the console for $400. In my opinion, that was a very smart move on Sony’s behalf."

LOL!!!!

Yes, Sony is so smart for losing money...

No, RRoD isn't going to the PS3, he is simply saying he wishes he had more time to build the hardware better.

Yes, Sony is smart actually.

  • Older Need To Buys: Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Deadspace, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2.

There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

I've had bowel movements smarter than that article.

We all know that the 360s dev time was only a little over a year and a half. And it shows in it's craftsmanship.

true have you ever felt the edges of the console, or trying to plug a pad in with your fingers - its got sharp edges all over the place, they should have rounded it of a bit imo.

someone may get hurt! if it was me i would complain.

regarding the OT i feel its a bit of a naff-naff blog

regarding another poster saying 360 sold at loss, i believe it still is and the price for the 60gig at $349 is a good price i dont think microsoft are going to let it go for peanuts, and i cant understand why people are moaning at the price of a 360 in the states

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I wanna know what Microsoft douchebag allowed the 360 to chew up games whenever it is slightly moved.

The article just sounds like some little kid. MS did rush their console but honestly if it had released at the same time as the Wii/PS3 would it have done much better? IMO no it would be in last place and wouldn't have near the LTD sales it will have.

Consoles Owned: Sega Genesis, NES, PS2 (RIP) N64, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii

His name is "Chris"? Does it include the quotation marks? Seriously, though there may be truth hidden in the article, the guy is obviously full of it. If he is no longer under a contract to not discuss the development of the 360 then he could and WOULD use his full name so that others may check his credentials.

MS rushed it, but it really paid off for them with the market share lead. Who loses? Gamers whose consoled get bricked.

Microsoft was wise to launch the X360 a year early. If they had not, they would have handed victory to their competitors.

Microsoft isn't that bad... when your console got a RRoD, MS replaced it under the warranty terms and also extended the warranty.

Well... it's probably not advantageous as the Sony thing but at least, they didn't rip off their consumers.

I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!

Oh, ok, Sony definitely cares about the consumer and for not reason whatsoever pushed Blu-Ray down customers throats, nope, they didn't care about winning the disc format war, they did it cuz the truly care about the customer, yup, that's it.

What are you looking at, nerd?

This article is crap, (not the thread or its poster), I just think this is un-credible ranting .

I do agree that Sony has, and is still, losing money on a great system in the hopes of long-term payoff. But the X360 is a great system also, and though a bit rushed, has paid dividends for MS.

If they had launched at a similar time as the PS3 they would have been crushed. I agree with libellule, by launching first they gave time to developers to perfect the hardware, establish a user base, and build its library.
