>Total revenue for Q3: $7.46 billion

>Total profits for Q3: $1.07 billion

that's some ridiculous profit margin right there. Looks like someone's paying way too much for their IPhone.

Oh, Kinofwale, your stubborn refusal to accept the notion of value as distinct from cost is cartoonish and endearing.

No kidding. Now that I'm out of SoCal and in the boondocks, the iPhone has become my lifeline to civilization.

If I knew how valuable this thing would become to me, I would have paid $1000 for it. No kidding, it's that useful. The bloody thing does damn near everything I need it to do while I'm on the go and don't have a computer handy.

App Store>All other phone software

And that's not including Maps, the texting system (brilliant), iPod capabilities, etc. The phone isn't perfect but for people like me, there's nothing else that's even close.

I gotta agree 100% with you on that. If ever there was a killer app for anything, App Store is it. Getting new programs to your iPhone is so easy it's almost ridiculous. I just hope that it's just the first step, and Apple will move ALL software, including Macs, to App Store.
