Hey if you did not know I hate the Playstation (look a sig)! I was just pointing out that I think they are better then just some chines saying We would like to play and then people playing Wii sports. It is good and all, but if they should some explosion or made it more that the PS3 commercial, then it would get more people excited about maybe buying it. Like little 9-14 year olds who like to blowup things.

Everytime I see any of the PS3 commercials makes me consider to not buying a PS3 and I feel the exact opposite when I see the PS1 or 2 ones.

The Wii ones are pure genious and obviously they work too.

To edit my last statement, only blind fanboys and you like the PS3 ones. ( I am sure there are more people liking them but they are in clear minority)

i love that wii commercial
its such a classic but i really liked the GCN ones

Well, Wii commercial is better because it has some critical aspects that PS3 commercial lacks:

1) Catchy line - "We would like to play"

2) Catchy and melodic tune

3) Focuses on the people, and the viewer can better connect himself with other people than machines

4) touch of humor

Edit: forgot

5) Wtf effect (aka 2 japanese guys driving around in smart and busting into ppl houses)

6) Sense of a mission (to entertain people) and accoplishment

This is where I disagree with you (but I do realize it is effective for the general public).  I much prefer the recent PS3 ads (GT5:P, LBP, MGS4) because they actually show the games, and not some people flailing their arms with a few shots of the tv.
