Hmm lets see here sony ps3 has beated the 360 in sales since November I think and soon enough it will beat the 360 and eventually the wii by 2011 sony will be back on top...End of story

That's how you destroy your brand and ruin it forever. There's a reason there is competition. They keep the market flowing and advancing. If Sony hadn't kept up with that flowing competition, they would have been left in the dust and completely ruined. PS3 releasing in 2006 was good. however may have been in better interest to release mid 2007 and start off at $400 and $500 but so far is still working out ok for them.
