if littlebigplanet delivers on its promises, its going to be game of the year for sheer ingenuity.

all these sequels, mgs4, gow2, gta4, etc. are incremental upgrades on their predecessors. they don't offer the originality that a game of the year awardee should have.

It's likely that it will be either a PS3, handheld, or multiplatform game, since the PS3 is yet to win a GOTY and it has some good games coming out this year.

I'd go with GTA4 or LittleBigPlanet, no question.
