Forums - Sony - Whatever happened to that Rockstar PS3 exclusive?

Speaking in a recent interview, Sony's Jack Tretton was asked whatever happened to that PS3 exclusive from Rockstar. He responded by saying "I would love to tell you that we do, I hope something is imminent - but it's dissapointing that we stand here a year later and does'nt have anything definitive to announce." This has sparked rumors that the project may never see the light of day or perhaps the PS3 has lost exclusivity on this title.

I mean, what is Rockstar working on anyway? L.A. Noire is vaporware, and right now they're focusing on the Episodes of 360 GTA IV

What we need to understand is that GTA IV was delayed from October until April. That was six months of extra development time that had to get taken from somewhere. I'm sure they wanted to show the exclusive game, L.A. Noire, but focusing on GTA IV probably mucked it up.

If we don't hear anything about it before the end of the year, I'll consider the project dead, but with the GTA IV delay, it could have easily been that.
