The latest shipment figure for GOW as of 30 may 2008 is 4.7 million, and Vg already have it at over 5.25 million. And i also remember some one from Epic saying that they shipped 4.5 million 6 months ago.

Here is where Epic said 4.5 shipped. And 3-4 months later they reported 4.7 million which mean Vg is way off.

While it isn't really way off (only 10%) this is a very odd mistake.

I'm sure that if you PM ioi with the new shipped figures, they'll be changed. You can't expect him to know about it, if he hasn't seen it

It's ok, it happens, it'll be adjusted and we'll live another day.

There is diffrence of 550k in shipped and sold figure and remember many copies still have to sell. So 700-800k diffrence is "HUGE".

gears was also bundled...at least here in EU (there was a pro starter pack like the MGS4 EU bundle: x360pro with GeoW for 379€ when the pro alone costed 349€). I Don't think that those copies are counted in shipped figures.
