Forums - General - Uh, why did I have to come to work today???

I got in, first thing the boss hands me a sheet and says spot the deliberate mistake. I look at this sheet and its my clock in and out times for last week, only half of them though are my times. It says I have been working nights as well as days and I also apparently worked saturday and Sunday. in total it says I worked 86 hours, which obviously I didn't.

I think somebody has been clocking in as me by mistake, but I can see myself here getting in to trouble for manipulating the clocking in system, something I haven't done. I have to find out who's been clocking in as me before I get in any more trouble.

I mean a whole extra week seems like some one else is clocking in as you. Ask her who doesn't have any hours (that should) and that's your person.

If they are accusing you, look for another job. You do not need that bull shit.

Edit: How could they think you would be that stupid to do it so openly? I'm an auditor, people rarely steals big they steal small and often.  Big things are almost always mistakes.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

^ good idea, I'll search the system now to see who wasn't in last week, cut out all the ones who were on holiday and logically the one left is the culprit.

If it doesn't work see who had that schedule or a close to identical time-sheet.

urgh, to top it off I just spilt a glass of water on my crotch.

That's not good, now your boss is going to think they intimidated you.
