To anser your question I qutoed my self in a post earlier in this thread.
Is that an answer good enough for you? |
I had already read that post and was responding in part to that mentality with my comments.
Once again, how can an article have any credibility if the author lacks the basics of spelling and grammar. This is simply a fanboy rant trying to discredit something successful.
Vaio posts a lot of stuff from different sources and perspectives.
Because of where this one is from and its structure, it probably should have been made clearer that this is not necessarily the poster's point-of-view.
I personally like seeing Vaio's posts because he sees things that I would never find.
As for the opinion in the post -- it is just as wrong as the response on the original posting site talking about how poor the Wii's attach rate is.

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
I bought a Wii on launch and got bored with it in under a week. At first I used to sit there and just mess around with it because of how badass it was...
Wii will continue to be dragged by motion control for quite a while IMO. It does not attract "hardcore" gamers or whatever you call them, but it appeals to other people - people that do not even play video games. It is aimed at a much wider range of people and is enjoying enormous success because of it. This is why I don't even compare Wii sales to PS3/360 sales becuase Sony and Microsoft stayed true and actually want to please gamers as to where Nintendo is getting more people to enter electronic gaming - but on a completely different level.

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird.
Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

“If any creator has not played Mario, then they’re probably not a good creator. That’s something I can say with 100 percent confidence. Mario is, for game creators, the development bible.
Because Wiimote and nunchuck're seperate from Wii itself ,much like an accessories. So there're still have many ways to improve its abilities ,or even it designed.
So ,if game's developers already see Wii sales going quite well now ,and know(as we know) that this console still need more hardcore games.
Then why don't they make some (good)hardcore games for Wii?We're still in the very beginning of this generation ,it maybe too fast to say who'll win and who'll lose. Same as how long this motion control'll bring Wii to.
@vaio
Some people always tend to 'jump the gun' and automatically assume....so don´t worry, and please keep posting articles from different perspectives.
in my opinion, he is partially right because i know many people who own a wii but have stopped using it or rarely use it.
this does not not really matter though as many more people are drawn to buy the wii.
