I think this is gonna be a short thread

I only watched a few screenshots and a not so good-quality video, but it looks like Activision hasn't successfully ported their CoD4 engine to the Wii. so I give my vote to High Voltage's Quantum 3 engine.

Yeah, actual GAMEPLAY footage would help...

I thought the little bit we saw of Call of Duty: World at War at Nintendo's E3 press conference was pretty good. At least they got the flamethrower right!

I can't really compare both now... I guess we'll just have to wait for some more videos of both games.



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Both look pretty good for Wii. I am happy. I don't really care for shooters or graphics (on my console).

Luckily it's a pluss, that means it gets short + a bit shorter = bit longer than short.

The average number of posts pr thread is also at ~ 30 posts, so this shouldn't be extremely bad.

 

On topic: I prefer the CoD 5 one (which I assume is the CoD 4 engine). The enemies look clearer, and from what I've seen (which wasn't gameplay?), it had more on screen.

So currently, I have my hand on the button, but stand in a position so I'd have to move to press it.

CoD5 is a big step up from CoD3 on the wii. Co-op looks like fun.

I think that the aspect really nailed by the quantum 3 engine is the implementation of the various visual effects via TEV ( handle by shaders on other console ).
