1. Wii Fit probably cost 4 times as much to create than Metroid Prime 3. Have you forgot about the R&D that went into creating the balance board for it?

2. Comparing Animal Crossing to Super Rubadub? Seriously? Do you just want every thread you create to start arguments?

@DTG-You don't know a thing about videogames as art, so you can quit pretending. You use the definitions of art in other mediums and force it to fit into gaming the same way a baby tries to fit an oval block into a square hole. You didn't have much success at VGC as billy 07, you've tarnished your new name, so why not start over again in a few months? Or better yet, start over when MGS 5 gets announced.

Why don't you take a look at the VG chartz numbers before you blow hot air around the room and make us all hot.

Another point I'd like to make is that Smash Brothers is one of the most casual Fighters of all time and that mario and Zelda games are always amazing. But they come out once every 5 years.

Lets look at this another way:

Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Party 8, Mario Kart Wii, and Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock for the Wii have outsold the combined total of all PS3 Million selling games; and their combined budget was probably 10% of the combined budget for the PS3 Million selling games. I guess PS3 development is doomed ...

1.43 million times 4 is 5.72. Wii Fit sold 5.73 million.

basically they just need to make money, if wii concentrated on proper core games i belive it would fail at doing so. nintendos best bet is to keep pumping out casual games aimed at family/child gamers because thats where the money is in the wii. so its not suprising that wii fit outsold metroid.

Yeah because super mario galaxy, SSBB, Mario Kart, and LoZ:TP outselling all the core games/most on the ps3 is "Failing".

 

I like to point out that the only core games outselling Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii and SSMB are CoD4, Halo3, Assasin's Creed and GTAIV...  That's not counting Wii****games of course.
