Yes! I'm going to go quit my job, right now.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

how is this bad news, it doesnt mean everything is going to be charged for, just certain things. and plus seriously wouldnt you like to earn money just by having fun in a game? i mean come on |
Not really, no.
But part of what makes LBP so appealing (aside from the adorable Sackboys) is that it's going to be all about user created content. A game that hinges so much on created content is inherently a little iffy, but if it builds a strong community where some really talented people are putting out labors of love (little doubt that this will be the case with LBP) then it's going to succeed. This decision, whether to a large or small extent, flies in the face of that. IMO.
I'm not saying OH NOEZ THE GAME IS RUINED!!! I just think it's not such a good idea.
It's bad news because it's either a terrible idea or a stupid idea. Why pay money for something you can readily get for free? If there are 2 million user created levels for free, but ten thousand levels some arrogant A-holes that think they are so much better at it than everyone else and so you should have to pay them, which are you going to DL? But if it's something that just about anyone can charge for then all of the sudden we have people rigging votes so that they can charge 2 bucks for some crappy level, and the whole system will no doubt crumble because if money is involved people will find a way to exploit it.
There is no good, I repeat no good that can come from this.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

They are probably doing it to lure professional designers to increase the quality of the new levels.
I wonder what they will do about plagiarism? If you can download it i presume you can copy it and upload it as your own... Like yutube?
PSN ID: T_Gears
End of 2009 ltd sales:
Wii = 67-68m
X360 = 38-39m
PS3 = 34-35m
Prediction: The PS3 will surpass the 360 on weekly sales after it drops to $299 on all regular weeks (no big releases).
Oh god no I might win money this will ruin my life! Lol @ spin.
How many people would actually pay to use a level anyway?
