Every week, according to VGC data, the Wii is selling in the 300K/400K range....in %, how many of these people do you think, taking a (wild) guess, are from the group Nintendo calls "expanded audience"?....And how many are 'core gamers'?
It seems many 3rd parties are under the assumption, ever since the Wii was released, that the vast majority of Wii buyers are not the so called 'core gamers', so they keep refusing to give the Wii the "big core games" (save for a few exceptions, such as Monster Hunter 3, Fatal Frame IV,etc..) the HD systems have been getting.
With that said, do you think the "expanded audience" group indeed makes up a big slice of the pie?
