Critically, it may not do well, but commercially, Wii owners are starved for FPSs. And one that looks good (For the Wii), and has online will get an automatic pass for Wii only owners. For people like me with a Wii and a HD console, maybe not, but I know a few Wii only owners who are hyped for a shooter to no end. I'll say Too human though. The game comes out in 1 month, and I don't see any ads for it, no commercial or nothing. Hype is low, and the demo impressions are bad. Killzone 2 will be the best of that bunch. Every preview is positive, nothing bad is said about the A.I. (which plagued the first game), it's been called generic by FPS standards, but we've only ever seen one stage of the game, so who knows if that's true or not. But Guerilla has said that there are going to be lots of variation in stages. |
Actually there were problems with Killzones AI. That's why they had to bring in AI specialists. The AI will be better for the final product and critical acclaim... but it was just another indicator of them going way over budget.
Gotta give em credit though to actually admit they suck at something than bring in help.
