HI GUYS JUST GOT MY NEW DUALSHOCK 3 IN THE POST THIS MORNING (PLAY.COM) AND ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, YOU CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE INMEDIATELY. IT'S MUCH HEAVIER COMPARED TO THE SIXAXIS AND THE RUMBLE IS JUST PERFECT WORKS WITH ALL MY PS2 GAMES AND MGS4, I WISH IT WAS COMPATIBLE WITH COD4. IF YOU COMPARE THE DS3 TO THE SIXAXIS IT BLOWS IT AWAY.

THIS IS MY OPINION THE SIXAXIS IS ONE OF THE WORST IDEAS MADE FOR THE GAME-CONTROLLER YOU DONT EVEN FEEL THE CONTROLLER IN YOUR HAND, NO CONNECTION WITH THE GAME. WHOEVER CAME UP WITH THE SIXAXIS SHOULD BE FIRED THEN SHOT (LOLL) THIS CONTROLLER SHOULD HAVE COME WITH PS3 SINCE LAUNCH ANYWAYS IM LOVING THE DUALSHOCK 3 AND AN HONESTLY ITS A BIT BETTER THAN THE XBOX 360 CONTROLLER BECAUSE OF THE BUTTONS AND HAS MOTION CONTROL, AND CHARGES VIA USB, 10/10 BUY IT IF YOU DONT HAVE IT AND TRADE THAT SIXAXIS IN (I DID) LOLLL - PSN - OMAR5500 - I PLAY MOSTLY COD4 SEE YA ONLINE!!!!!

i don't understand the issue about weight...
I thought the lightness of the sixaxis was awesome, and the wireless?
We used to throw the controllers to each other if we left the room, with no care about breaking stuff.
Is the ds3 weak in rumbling??!?!?

Anyway, Sony finally sent me a brand new Dual Shock 3 so I'm happy again. For whatever reason, I was stupid and didn't take the old one back to the store after I bought it because all the buttons made grinding noises like they were about to break (.. and the X button started to stick week after I bought it).

So after two customer service numbers (they didn't send me a service e-mail the first time... so I had to do it all over again) and a month of waiting, they sent me a brand spanking new Dual Shock 3.

Dude, i've noticed all your post are in so called "caps." you should concider NOT using that amount of caps as it turns people completely off reading what you have to say.

Related to the topic though, i have a ds3 aswell. It's pretty nice. A lot heavier than the sixaxis though. :p
