Undying
Sadly, Halo 1 for me. I found the Flood level to be quite unnerving. I've never actualy played any games specifically geared toward fear.
I assume Fatal Frame IV will take that spot soon.

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made. I won't open my unworthy mouth.
i played Resident Evil 4 at my friends at about 2 in the morning, that was pretty scary!
Was there really any game (really worth playing) that was scary besides Resident Evil.
I guess Eternal Darkness was kinda jumpy but not really because it's scare value.
I mean Dino Crisis was too cheasy to be scary. Carrier maybe could have been for some. Parasite Eve was and RPG..... yeah

One of the silent hill games, i just picked a battery from the counter, and out of no where i get attacked by a... thing. At all the scariest game that i ever played was " The Thing " based on the movie. You just landed in Alaska and all you see is mangled mutilated flesh, mutated human/aliens. At all when your around a corpse that's been, brutally butchered and mutated, it made your AI buddies have a panic attack that added to the mayhem. I recommend the movie :)
