So after the whole FF13 thing came at E3 I made a decision not to keep my 40GB PS3.  This was a easy decision  to make because during the 8 months I own the system I have only bought one game Heavenly Sword, IMHO is a awesome game.  During that same time I have purchased 4 Wii and 8 360 games.  So I got my PS3 put back into its original box and went to my local Game Crazy store.  I would have enough store-credit to Pre-Purchase Too Human, Madden 09, Gears of War 2, Fable 2 and maybe a Wii game.

So when I got there, the FedEx guy just delievery some big boxes(at first I thought it was the Wii Fit).  When the clerk open the boxes it was a shippment of the 80GB MGS4 PS3 bundle.  On a side note, my stupid PS2 died out on me a few months back and I didn't feel like paying $90 for another used one.  So you might guess what MY STUPID ASS DID NEXT.  I purchase the 80GB PS3 instead of trading in my 40GB PS3.  Instead getting about $250 in store credit, I'm out $540 cash for the day. 

Waiting for Kill Zone 2 in 2009 for my next PS3 game purchase.

It's okay, fact of the matter is you got what you wanted and thats the PS3 that is BC with PS2 games. So be happy about that...other than that your good and you were not weak.

You were confident enough to spend that much...lol

Lol, wow, you just spent a lot of money. You could have bought another PS2 and MGS4 for that much. At least you got the 40 gigs of extra HDD space and you get to play Killzone soon. Check out LittleBigPlanet too while you're at it.

If you like JRPG's Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles will both be out soon, the former within about a month.
