Never pay $50 for a year of XBL. Never. The offer includes free shipping of the XBL cards. This works out to $3.07 per month of XBL, which is quite a bit lower than the $5 that everyone loves quoting.

Everyone loves to quote it because the other 2 consoles offer free online play.

It's actually a ridiculously low amount, and considering how good XBL is, I don't mind.
