Fatal Frame 4
New Super Mario Bros 2
I'm not mad at Nintendo anymore; I have figured out their strategy. They know core fans will be loyal as long as they put out some games, and this year is there push year to fully draw in new Wii fans and expand their casual base, so 1st party core games are limited. Next year with all their money their current core projects will be near completion, and we will have lots of core and casual games for the Wii. Next year is when Nintendo attempts to move upstream to the hardcore market.

these are all for the most part anyway big games, and from what I can tell they're absent of at least behind closed doors for this E3, kind of a bummer as I was expecting news on many of these titles. |
Nintendo left off a lot more than that, most notably, a nice harddrive solution and Fatal Frame IV which launches in Japan later this month.
E3 really sucked this year. A part of me really hopes that it is the last one.
Microsoft confirmed that E3 wasnt even worthy enough to unveil the new Halo game in development! They put the brakes on it! E3 is officially dead for new news! Its all TGS now
MS is going make announcements about its most anticipated games at other events. I read about it in the LA Times. It said MS wanted to focus on their blockbuster games releasing this year and felt any major announcements (Halo, Alan Wake and GTA IV DLC) would detract from their already stellar E3 lineup.
I think what amazes me more then anything thing is that there was a alot of games we've yet to hear about and for the first half of the year I kept thinking we only haven't heard about them because the developer is waiting for E3 but here we are and they still aren't being shown , and yet were getting tons of footage on games we've already seen tons of footage for like: This is Vegas, LBP, Home, Gears of War, Fable 2, Resistance 2, even some games that are out already I'm seeing E3 videos for. (That's not to say I'm not happy seeing more)
With that said we've had some unveiling but nothing like we used to get anyway. I remember the very first E3s were even Nintendo was showing off super early footage of stuff that was way, but then stuff they showed got canned and people complained, or complained about poor looking early footage, and I think because of those things they stopped doing, plus you used to have to wait months to know what was shown at E3, when you picked up magazines, now every press conference is streamed live over the interenet, so with so many people watching, everyone seems to playing there cards closer to their chest.
I'm just amazed that there is alot of games that have already shown gameplay footage that aren't being shown here, I don't get that.

Your expectations seem a little high. SWB is mainly targetted toward western audiences, so I don't know why that would be at a japanese conference. FFVII remake is very unlikely. As for Uncharted, Is it popular in japan? If so then maybe. The only prediction that you made that has a good chance of coming true is Versus info.

I thought these were what we thought were missing from E3, not what expected from TGS?

Oops read the post wrong because people were talking about TGS. Sorry.
Yes on the Team ICO game. I was sad at the end of the Sony conference when the only surprise was MAG.
:(
*edit* - wasn't Heavy Rain shown to some people? There's a thread where N'Gai says that he saw Heavy Rain and I guess he liked it. That was about it since he's under NDA, lol.
