With all of these Batman threads I'm getting tempted to embed the Batman v Joker final scene I downloaded.

Yes the movie was just intense. This is hwo Batman is supposed to be potrayed. No George Clooney crap acting nice and some bright outlook. Batman is supposed be dark, sadistic, and disturbed and Christian Bale did it perfectly.

And Gotham is potrayed perfectly. A sick and sadistic area where crime and violence is the norm not good. NOt to mention Joker is just not some guy who plays tricks like Jack Nicholosn did, but a true insane and madman that sees the fun in destruction in anarchy. This movie potrayed it perfectly and this deserves honors. Don't give oscars to worthless actors doing the same shit over and over again and movies continuing the norm. Give it to the movie that took you on a ride and an actor, Heath Ledger, who made the most sadistic but genius character ever.

Ledger's Joker was... I have no words... Oh my God... I don't want to give out any spoilers, so for you guys that have seen it, was that the best magic trick ever or what?!
But seriously, Ledger's performance really does deserve an Oscar... He is so psychotic and entertaining he steals the whole show.

This movie was great, saw it on opening day, during the morning (no lines :D ).

Great movie, every part was played well by all the actors, except maybe the mayor (but his is a small role). Ledger did steal the show though, truly awesome performance, I think someone above put it best when they said it was a "chilling performance".

I've never watched a movie where a character sent chills down my spine, that's how good ledger was.

This is either equal first or just in second place for my favourite super hero movies (Spiderman 2 being the other contender). Dark Knight is only below Spiderman 2 because a) Marvel > DC for me and b) Spiderman > all other superheroes for me.

Everybody should watch this movie, everything about it is awesome, actors, story, pacing. The only thing I didn't like about it was:

Harvey Dent dying, which kind of sucked because he's one of batman's more famous enemies (if only for the previous batman movies) and I think in the end, he's internal conflict wasn't brought out as much as I'd hope, seemed a bit rushed. But that's a small blip on an otherwise fantastic movie.
