I want to play the tales of vesperia demo, but I need a gold account to download it. I don't play online games on live so that doesn't benefit me. Anyway I just want to know if I should get live for a month so I could play the tales of vesperia demo, or should I wait until its available to silver accounts. Is there any other demos I should try out exclusive to gold accounts if I do decide to purchase it?

Just wait a week or so and you can download it with a silver account. I am sure they don't stay Gold exclusive forever, Gold users just get it first.

If you're desperate, you could always create a Japanese Live account and download it right now. I played the demo weeks ago, though I would not recommend making the effort.
Now, if you were doing it to play the Raiden Fighters Aces demo, then I'm all for that.

Yeah well this gen its almost impossible to play all the games you like since every console is about equal in terms of exclusive support. Last gen you could own one console(ps2) and be happy, but this gen you need at least 2.
