From what I've heard the real reason for the big shake-up isn't so much the Wii as the DS, especially since the Touch Generations games aren't doing as well in US as Europe and Japan.

Just do the Math WiiGirl76. Nintendo officially announced that they sold 5.8 million units by end of March. It is now June and Wii is averaging 250units a week worldwide.
