My mother's side yes. Budapest seems nice.... And yeah Goulash (gulyás) is a Hungarian dish.

In my Mom's spice cabinent there was a big red and white Hugnarian Paprika thing.  She never used it once... and it stayed in there for about.... 20 years.

Apparently they're distant relatives of us Finns... even though our languages are so different we have no chance to understand each other .

An interesting people with an interesting history, although they've tended to get overshadowed by being right between Austria, Russia, and Turkey.

Off-Topic: I am close to hating my father. He walked out on my mother and didn't renew the mortage to our house so we had to leave when my mother could have gotten a job and paid off the next one. We moved into a small duplex where my mother had to work two jobs to pay rent.

We moved into a smaller house. Two bedroom, 1 bath. My mother only has to work one job now at Wawa but the hours are hectic.

All because of my father.
