Final fantasy13 and versus 13 is the reason why i bought ps3 so i really dont care ,the only thing is that is feels like forever until release.
all i care is that i want to play ff13 on my ps3, hopefully fingers crossed a asian english copy will be released

They are B-Level though FF is only AAA in brandname these days.
Tales is mediocre from start to finish. Disgaea has awesome writing but niche status thanks to it being an sRPG. Star Ocean games are punctuated by moments of pure awesome and moments where the entire plot just seems to kind of sh*t itself.
Hoestly the only Final Fantasy games I care about are the Tactics series anymore. I stopped playing the series all the way through when 7 came out and there were 10 minute summons. The last main game I liked was 6.
I haven't finished a Final Fantasy game since FFVI so I don't really care. Besides, how does FFXIII coming out on the 360 prevent it from being playable on the PS3?
It was fun to watch the fanboy meltdowns, but the FFXIII multiplatform announcement really doesn't mean much to me since I'm not a JRPG sort of guy.
The first time I heard the news I was surprised that Square Enix is going multi-console. But who cares, I'm a ps3 gamer since many of xbox games doesn't appeal to me. True that at first I bought ps3 with FF in mind but even without FF I still love my ps3 :)
Don't get me wrong, I love FF to death. I experience "nerdgasm" every time I see FF trailers ._.
Square Enix made the right choice to go multi-platform, they make more money that way. Hopefully with that pile of money they'll make, they develop more excellent games.
But for now, I'm happy for my xbox360 friend (who previously couldn't afford ps3) be able to play Final Fantasy XIII. I also plan to go multi-console by purchasing xbox360 soon.
I care. Though people often think I don't because I acknowledge the fact that the Final Fantasy series has devolved into a pile of mediocrity.
But hey, i play a lot of games anyway... and am always hoping they surprise me again.
