GTA, FF, GT, DQ, Pokemon, DMC, MGS... should I keep going?

As long as fans keep buying they'll keep releasing

Final Fantasy released #1-5 in 6 years. (87-92)

Dragon Quest released #1-5 in 7 years. (86-92)

Grand Theft Auto released #1-5 in 7 years. (97-04) - GTA I, II, III, VC, SA

Resident Evil released 7 titles in 7 years. (96-02) - I, II, III, Veronica, Zero for mainline titles (5). As well as 2 Survivor series.

Mega Man released #1-6 in 7 years. (87-93). As well as 4 Game Boy titles (90-93), and 2 PC titles (90-91) in the 7 year timeframe for a grand totl of 12 games in 7 years.

Want me to keep going on about your failure? Games that do well get sequels, and fast.
