I don't think that matters to wii owners. Especially for those of us that take Artstyle>Technicallity. Which so far FFXIII looks like it has a good art style. I don't see why we should be arguing about this seeing as it most likely won't happen. A spinoff might though. Similar to Versus, but a wii exclusive built specifically for it.

 

indeed, but it sounds like leetgeek thinks the wii is powerful enough to run the same edition as 360/ps3.

I think he is talking about it being able to downgrade. His reasoning is wrong though since Dead Rising is a 2 year old 360 game that didn't push the 360 anywhere near its limits. Its possible(with downgrade graphically) to port it though, but I don't see why it would be worth it, unless the 360 or ps3 versions bomb.( which they probably won't)

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Don't say the Wii isn't powerful enough because Dead Rising is comming to Wii as well and that's a 360 game.

 

I'm suspicious of your post, because you are never optomistic on anything Wii related, but I digress.

I don't know the answer to that one, to be honest. I would suggest that it will not, but likely see Kingdom Hearts 3 instead.

I can't explain why I feel this way about FF13 being developed for the Wii. I would say space, but XB360 uses standard DVDs as well as the Wii... Unless SE knows of MS adding Blu Ray support soon? I'd think amount of RAM, as it uses a lot more rendering than Dead Rising.

Also ToS2 is doing excellent in japan. Fire emblem sold nicely. A dragon quest spinoff sold nicely as well. How about we wait until more rpgs are released on the wii before judging.
