Unless it appears on the rock band website, I won't believe these numbers. 60 dollars is quite steep for just the guitar, and depending on the quality of the drum kit, 80 seems kinda steep also.

I'll still get it. I just read the whole article in Game Informer. This game is going to be freakin sweet, no question. With 40 separate Venues (assuming 3-5 songs per venue, how many songs is that? 120-200), online multiplay, original master tracks for many (if not most) of the songs: This game will be well worth 200 dollars.

Wait...it's not coming out for Wii? Not even PS2? They're cutting off a lot of people for what sounds like a rhythm/music game that doesn't require cutting-edge graphics...

Weird, I thought they said that the prices weren't going to be that high months ago when there were rumors going around about the whole thing costing that much.

I'd rather just get the game and a single instrument and hopefully some friends are excited for the game too and get other ones so we can just hang out and play together instead of everybody getting everything.

Don't ask me for a link but, I've heard from enough sources that I belive the $200 price to be true. The instruments are of much better quality then previous GH releases.

I will still buy it, but this will hurt sales.
